I don't know how I missed the initial release of this but I found it now and glad I did. I honestly can't pick a single favorite song, but I am so so happy Aurelio kept the "maybe there's a God above" part of Hallelujah. it is too often changed to "I know there is". But Necropolis of Former Lovers speaks to me personally, but so does The Ones Who've Hurt You. And Leaves in the Stream is the perfect ballad for his voice mingling with Alissa's. Whether you are new to Voltaire, only aware of his Grin Adventures Songs, or a fan of all his other work you will find something to enjoy in this bittersweet collection, appropriately titled as Heart Shaped Wound.
